There are 2 main reasons why so many people Lie. Most people associate Pain to being Honest, and pleasure to avoid the pain (in the short term) And, there is a general belief that Everyone lies, so that makes it politically and socially correct. This puts us on the road to a major disaster that far exceedes the Gulf Oil spill. Which, by the way, was caused by Lack of Honesty and Integrity.
